Just got back from the vets tonight, Penny had her stitches out and we got her test results back.

We think we were given good news and bad news (you know what vets talk like) (w00t)

The Tumour was a poly something!!!!!!! which means they were not sure if it was benign . so to safeguard themselves they say it was possibly malignant :(

But the good news is the tumour was compact and totally removed, just got to keep a check on her in the future.

Vet said she has a clean bill of health and can carry on as normal from tonight which means out walking tomorrow and ok to race on Sunday (shame sunday will be her nineth week)

Many thanks for all your well wishes

What a relief Dave, I was just wondering about her today, and the results. I know how you feel, we have had a similar scare with little Fynn in June, all was well, but it is such a worry.

Look forward to seeing you Sunday :huggles:

Thats rearly good news dave and lyn it will be lovely to see her back on track sunday :huggles: :huggles:  xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Dave

Saw you at Ragley Hall - last

Did you notice something after that weekend?

As we have bitches related to yours - can you give some tips or what to look for!

Rob..

we noticed the lump at ragley hall, just small lump next to the back nipple, we thought she had a blocked milk gland but it did not go away after a week so had it removed. :sweating:

i would not worry rob the vet said that the lab has to cover them selves for any come backs so will always give you the worst senairo.

Its a thing that commonly happens in bitches after a season Rob, especially if they haven't been spayed and haven't had puppies so June tells me.

:D :D Dear Dave and Lynn we are so happy to hear that Penny is on the mend :luck: :luck: for Sunday and hope to see you at the Sporting at Worcester. (w00t) (w00t)
