In the Netherlands when films like this one start appearing on the news.

Its quite an event, going down to the local farm to see the cows going out into the pasture for the first time since they went into their winter stall.

And they say animals dont have feelings ......
Luckily our local farmers have their herd out all year taking them in at night in the winter months .....

It gets too cold and wet here to leave animals out all year .. The poor cows would sink past their knees if they were left in the field during our wettest times.
