A Christmas pressie from Ella to my daughter, and I've just read it whilst waiting for Next to answer the phone for my sales order (only 2 out of 15 items I wanted in stock, bummer  )

For all of us skinny dog lovers it's a beautiful story

BORN TO RUN by Michael Morpurgo

only £5.50 in WHS or Amazon, it'll make you laugh and cry, you've gotta get it,

the adventures of a rescued greyhound, only 2 little things I'd question..do greys have gangly legs at the early age of 7 weeks ? and they are not really the guarding type dog, but I guess if threatened they could rise to the occassion !

let me know what you think of it....I'd post this copy on to a k9'er to pass on and do the rounds only it's got a personal plate in the front and I'm certain it's one to keep as a little classic :D

Great! :D Did you get your spice rack? Looked online but none available. Need a new wardrobe with all that shopping so it's off to Ikea over the weekend, Tony will be delighted! :- "

just started Born to Run mother in law got it for me its good so far

I bought this book for my 12 year old son (Rob) in the summer and he has read it 3 times already... tis such a great book

my nan got it for my mum (pepa) and she is reading it now. i am going to see if i can ghave a read of it after mum. But the author is fantastic i also reccomend other books he has written like the butterfly lion and private peaceful. Any adult could read his books because they are really powerful and not just fantasy. :)

I hope you all enjoy the book im looking forward to reading it myself. :D

You are so right Jaydiiee...he is a brilliant author, I must get this book as I've loved everything else by him...though for some reason I took 'Private Peaceful' to read on holiday with me to Cyprus last year, got some right queer looks as I was snivelling away reading it on a lounger by the pool
