The post I never wanted to write...
We said goodbye to our wonderful boy Goose on Monday... He'd been slowly but surely not doing so great over the last couple of weeks and he was just wanting to sleep more. His meds were on the max the last few days and he still wasn't comfortable when he had to move.
So we arranged for a wonderful vet who came to our home to help him cross the bridge... He'd spent the morning on the window sill in the sun and the afternoon snoozing either in my daughter's arms or mine. He stayed in my daughter's arms and drifted away peacefully, he was ready... Although our hearts are broken and I can barely see the screen as I type, this gave us comfort...
Rest in peace our wonderful, stinky, most loveable and special boy
