im pleased to annonce that after tonights meeting a re opening of a club from the seventys SHIREBROOK STAFF WRC. got camping available on site great club house separate showers and toilets please check www.shirebrookstaff.co.uk and committe so willing to accomadate how needs,

will keep you all informed not alot work needed on track hope to be up and runing early next month.alot of interest from locals that raced in the seventys so hope be some new faces
 
got two great had cored entraces for caravans and is well drained land and the shirebrook football club are going to mow ithe field and track and let us use there line markers etc

Well done Chris :luck: A blast from the past for some of us going back to Shirebrook, remember sitting in the club room whilst open draw being made and the racers sat writing our own programmes out (mum would be writing programmes whilst i was eating my crisps and drinking my pop (w00t) ) can't remember exactly when Shirebrook finished but i think i was only about 12/13 :wacko:

(w00t) I was a bit older then, sweet sixteen or there abouts (ok no i aint ever been sweet but 16 ish lol)
