I am with argos......platinum cover £13 a month for my 2 year old. Had only been with them a month when he was attacked by a staff and they paid the vet £400 direct no problem.
I am so pleased to hear you had no problems with Argos

After spending many hours searching for the best cover wit value for money we also opted for Argos as well.

We pay £10.64 per month for our 4 month old Bitch, fingers crossed we never have to use it but just in case its reassuring to hear positive comments.

Hope your dog makes a speedy recovery

He was attacked back in June and made a fantastic recovery...Thanks for asking ;)

i have all 6 whippets insured with Argos Platinum (life time cover) premiums range from £9 to £14 per month. My vet was paid directly by them no problems.

ooh that's interesting...I'm going to look into them at renewal time...out of interest what age range are your dogs?

At the moment Asda seem reasonable and offer a 10% discount on each policy if you are insuring more than one dog. Going to decide between Argos/Asda today I think. Thanks for all the input

Oh, can I ask anyone taking out insurance, or in fact doing any online shopping, to consider doing it via http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ ? It is totally free, Scruples Whippet Rescue are registered as a cause and the companies participating will donate a percentage to Scruples. Insurance companies including Argos etc make donations of around £15 when you take out a policy.

Argos give a multi dog discount or a discount for taking the policy out on line, they wont give both. ;)

Re the comments about Tesco, I have one of mine with them and two cats They had huge bills to pay three years ago. which they did promptly and without quibble. They also insured my beloved Pip who was killed last year. They paid out on the mri scans etc and the small amount that she was insured for (she was a rescue). When they sent me that cheque I also received a letter of condolence from them. Thumbs up for Tesco.
