Is anyone else having problems.

Made pic 175 k. Well under 300k. Upload & nothing happens.

Tried a pic over 300k & it says "failed" too big.

Just wondering. (w00t)

they have to be 75kb or less, not 175.

Also there is a limit for space for photos now for each user. Check that you haven't gone over your limit - it tells you how much space you've used in the box where you go to upload.

If you have gone over your limit you'll have to go into your profile page and delete some.

Cheers

L.

This photo is 116 kb and uploaded fine. It still says attachments 300k when I posted. Perhaps you should try again Cartman!

Are they jpg or bmp files? bmp files end up huge even though they look small. Other than that I'm not sure what else to suggest.

To be fair this board actually allows HUGE photos and has to shrink them down within the board software. The best way to put photos on is to either resize them to something like 600x400 pixels (which is a reasonably viewable size for the web) or to load them into a photobucket account (which can automatically resize) and the post them on using the img code from photobucket.

Yes that's what I did!

Most likely you need to remove some old pics that you posted

Go to MY CONTROL, then on the left scroll down to OPTIONS and click on MANAGE ATTACHMENTS, tick the pics you want to remove and click on DELETE SELECTED :)
