Hi my almost 8 month old dog has been yellow bile sick for the last 3 mornings. We are away on holiday and she has been eating all sorts (including cow dung) so not surprising. Something has obviously irritated her tummy. She is not getting sick during the day. This morning there was a little bit of grass in it. She is fine in herself, eating drinking and I will take her too her normal vet tomorrow when we home but just wondering what it could be and if there is anything I can give her tonight to settle. I have tried giving her some food late incase it is just the bile irritating her tummy. Thanks in advance.

A late snack was what i was going to suggest until i read the end - bile is often from an empty tummy. You could try offering some live natural yoghurt to rebalance her gut bacteria - might help but can't do any harm. Is it possible too that it's the stress of being away from home (bearing in mind stress is not always necessarily due to a bad thing happening - a change of environment could trigger it).

Live yoghurt...great idea thank you I will try that. I did wonder if her sleeping arrangements is stressing her out. Although she is in her own room during the night, as she is at home, it is in a strange place. Thanks for replying
