Christmas cards in shops

I was standing in a shop yesterday that had all sorts of autumn decor items on the shelves, I said to my daughter 'next week its Christmas' ..
Seems Im late !

The Co Op sells hot cross buns from January. They're rather nice!

I buy my Christmas cards from the RSPCA shop.

I must admit I like to keep things special otherwise they lose their magic, so no mince pie until December wont put the tree up until after 5 December (Sint Nicolaas).

Dont have hot cross buns here , but wont eat easter eggs until easter.. etc etc.

I send fewer cards nowdays but put a christmas collage or something with music on FB for all my friends on there and explain that the money I would have spent on cards I now give to my local food bank.
But this year I have a cunning plan.. Quite a few doggy people ask about exchanging cards with Murphy , so Im going to get 10 printed with a photo of him and George and people can have one sent to them but only if they give a donation to a dog charity..
I hope it works, if not I will have 10 lovely cards with my dogs on them!
