Hello everyone,
I currently have one rescue dog a large Pomeranian called Lulu, hopefully in a few years I will be getting a puppy, it will be my first time having a puppy! I all so have 3 cats, 13 guinea pigs, 8 rabbits, 12 quail, 3 soft fur rats and a few mice.

Welconme - wha a wonderful menagerie you have! I've never heard of soft fur rats before.

They are mostly kept as feeders for reptiles, not really pets, which is probably why you have not heard of them before. I am trying to breed friendly ones as pets, so far I have had them for a month and think they will make great pets once they are tamed. I can’t figure out how to post pictures on a ipad :(

Yes, I had a quick google and most of my info was from reptile forums! Which made me kind of sad till I thought of all the chickens my dog gets through... I love rats, but from what I did glean, pet ASRs might be more like gerbils in personality.

I can't help with posting photos from an ipad, I'm afraid - hopefully someone else can.

Hi and welcome:) a lovely animal family you have there! I used to have 7 fancy rats, who I adored... I now have 3 ferrets and a corn snake, they all like eating mice I'm afraid:oops:, sorry... but I haven't eaten animals since I was 12 years old, so hopefully there is some kind of balance thing going on there!
Can't help either with the ipad picture posting, I am a confirmed computer numpty!:D
