Since the weather has been changing one minute cold one warm we have had wasps in the lawn ...Tom must have sniffed one and got stung gave him a piriton but it took 24 hours for his face to return back to normal

Poor mite. Hope he gets over the trauma. Have noticed that we have individual hibernating wasps in the log stores - thick gloves a must.
 
Oh the poor lad. That happened to Jasper once - for a few hours he looked like he'd been crossed with a Rottie.
 
Ouch that looks painful. I hope he is feeling better by now.

For anyone reading who doesn't know - Piriton is good, and safe for dogs. Piritase is not. So be sure you have the right one!

Thanks for that....despite having bees and our dogs can get to close to the hive, we've still managed to avoid stings! I shall write that info into my 'little book of remedies' for future reference ;)
