Could someone please tell me when the closing date for the next Champs is? Cant find it anywhere on the Whippet Club/WCRA website and tried emailing Kim with the link supplied and have had email returned. Many thanks in advance.

Thanks Didnt want to miss it and as we dont get the WN anymore its quite difficult to find out if youve missed a couple of weeks racing and so not caught up on the gossip!

Looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up on Sunday though

I've had a couple of calls today saying the KC have over ruled the W/C & WCRA and the litter has now got its passports again?.

any other updates on that news?.

We were told last night that the W.C have over ruled the WCRA and that was confirmed yesterday????????

cheers Colin/Tina. funny how the whippet club gets involved when it suits but the rest of the time they distance themselves from racing. maybe if more of them raced they would have a more rounded view.

EVERYTHING has been repeatedly done for all of the doubters ...Its gone across the board from KC, WC and WCRA .... The dna testing again and again .. Just all go and grow up and get a life ... Its a few dogs running up a bloody field for a bit of plastic ....Julia could do no more for you lot to prove these are pedigree ... its amazing how a few can blow things out of proportion ..... and the rest of you jump on the wagon ... Hey lets get a grip ... these dogs are fast as was their mother, father, aunts, uncles etc ... they just atren't dragged round the circit so most of you didn't see them ... You lot shouting the loudest are happy enough when your dogs win week in and week out ... So opps some have now got compertition .. Get a grip .... Waiting for my warn to be upped again as I seem to be the only person who can't mention Julias litter ... Hey ho ... see you all at the next champs ..

Errr..... no Dan, it has been cancelled again. It cannot be run if people won't go, and that was the outcome of the poll today. Pedigree racers want to race with pedigree dogs, and people don't want the Champs (in its present form). There will be a Championships held still, so there will be somewhere to send your entry, but details have to be finalised yet. It will be announced on K9 as soon as possible, and club secretaires will be informed also :thumbsup:
