Lilly and Toddy enjoyed watching the Lurecoursing at Holyrood Park so much, that the have started training themselves.

They have discovered the swallows in our local park! :b

I am not particularly keen on them chasing swallows but is was facinating to watch them racing flat out, twisting and turning with the swallows. Lilly is a natural and seemed tireless. She is so fast for a small whippet. Toddy does not have the same stamina, but he is only 11 months. We do not go to the park very often so the swallows are quite safe. They will be gone in a few weeks anyway.
 
Just be carefull that they don,t course the Squirells in the park they bite back!!!!! ;) The Owd Mule.
 
you are wrong it is not illegal to take squirrels they grey squirrel is officially vermin
 
Not with dogs ,you can shoot em but you cant hunt them with dogs .

I'm affraid it is illegal to take grey squirrels with dogs. The only things you can legally hunt are rabbits and rats. If your dog catches a mouse you've committed an offence under the hunting with dogs act!!!!!. Thats how rediculous this unworkable ban actually is....
