Just an update on my 2.5 year old female BC's issues.

Not liked because you broke your ankle! It's great how dogs understand and try to help by not pulling and being more patient. When I had a knee replacement a few years ago, one of my dogs (she has since died) started picking things up that I'd dropped and if either of the others - her daughters...

Try her on grain free. Aldi have one in sometimes. Asda Hero dry is largely whatever grain was cheapest at the time it was made, wheat and maize are common triggers for food intolerance. The Aldi one isn't too bad, the grain free working dog version that is also less costly because of no VAT...

Food intolerances are not uncommon in BC's, so it could be worth looking at what she's eating and trying something different. Trigger ingredients are often cereals (including rice) and cooked chicken.

    Meeting large dogs

As long as the other dog's body language is friendly, I'm relaxed about it. And my small dog is very good at reading other dogs. If I had to. I'd pick her up.

    Hello everyone.....

I've just joined, as a different forum I was on has decided to adopt AI. I currently have 3 dogs - 2 Welsh Sheepdogs - Fly (nearly 11), Nell (nearly 4) and a little rescue crossbreed, she's probably around 12 to 18 months.
