HI - yes I have - Freddie is currently on woolfworthy (its a dry food online from their website only) you can order a sample bag of it. He has been on it since April 24 and doing well - still has his fussy moments but I just stick to my guns and as it is dry it doesnt go off so as quick as wet...
thanks Judy - I have since found the loose lead article and had a good read. Can I ask when you say you acknowledged his request what do you mean? a bit of fuss and further encouragement? I must admit I got very annoyed with him this morning and probably didnt react very well!! :emoji_cry...
I am back again for further advice please? My dog wont always walk where I would like. We live on a main road and my car is currently out of action so cannot drive anywhere. He constantly wants to zig zag down the road which is not easy to cross and sometime has a sniff and wants to cross...
My dog had giardia aground the same age. It took a while to go and the vet did say it takes a few courses for it to be cured. Think it took 3 courses in the end.
Being a first time dog owner (not sure if you are first timers or not but..) I would wait until spring - its soo much easier to adapt to early mornings, walks, toilet training ect when the weather is nice out - makes the transition to long dark nights and cold wet dog walks so much easier -...
I have posted many times here and always seem to come across a resolution to each problem so here I am again. Freddie is now constantly asking for attention from my other half in particular - I work from home 4 out of 5 days and my other half goes out to work. It started about a month ago...
Hi. I am certainly no expert and know nothing about the working v pet dog scenario but….sounds similar to Freddie around the same age. I found things so easy right at the start as I was expecting it to be hard so was prepared. What I wasn’t prepared for was for it to be hard 5-6 months down the...
Hi there. I wondered if someone could help me. My dog Freddie is now 3.5 years old.
Nothing has changed in his routine but he has started begging for treats in the evening. We both work full time and like to just relax after evening walk and dinner. He used to just snuggle with us on the sofa...
I will give it a go - thanks. I will say though they prior to these last few weeks he has slept through for a period of about 6 months solid without stirring.
He is the same side of the gate as us and has access to us all night. The gate is just to block access to the hallway and front door. We don’t take him out now - we did for a few days but it was evident he didn’t need the toilet.
He is not separated by the gate - we are in a small flat and the gate is just to stop him running out the front door when open. He has access to us all night but mainly chooses to sleep in his bed which is about 2 metres away from our bed.
Freddie is still asking to go out every night - sometimes more than once. He taps on the baby gate as if he wants to go out then jumps on the bed and goes to sleep having woken us up - then back to his bed after about 15-20 mins - a few hours later it is repeated. Any advice would be welcome...
