    Introduction myself and Milo :-)

Most definitely. We met a friend today who asked if we wanted a dog walk .I hesitated but just look at the results ....this is his first walk with another dog in over a year and he never barked! Goes to show, find the reason for the reactivity, sort it and suddenly you feel like your on a...

Yes, we had to ask loads of questions. We never crated Ted so we asked about a pen and vet said as long as he doesn't jump or run he's fine. Literally being able to sit in with him all the time while we watched tv helped him and us. Get a soft pillow for your bum though! Also sleeping near him...

I think we were lucky as my husband is home most of the time and Ted was never left alone for the first few weeks while his stitches were healing and when his lampshade came off. Also we sat with him lots and lots so if you have the space and he can be in your lounge or where you are then sit...

Hi, we used his old pen from when he was a puppy. It has 8 panels but only used 5. The vet said as long as he had room for his water and bed. It was also roomy enough for us to sit in with him and cuddle him as he couldn't obviously jump onto the settee or his normal bed which is off the floor...

Also, we use a 'perfect fit' harness, Ted's a puller but with new commands of 'with me' and 'back' he's getting better. But if he can see a lamppost or gets a scent then he turns into a steam train!

Hello, welcome to this amazing site. I am owned by Teddy...he's just over 3yrs. He is a mixed bag of madness! His mum was a sprockerpoo and his dad a cockerpoo so both spaniels and a double dose of poodle! Anyway, my ears pricked ( Ted's didn't as he's currently asleep on the sofa with one eye...

    Transitioning back to dry

He's fine with teeth and gums, we clean them regularly. Sometimes the raw good can be cold when taken from the fridge, but it cant sit for long at room temperature. Which is why we thought about a good quality kibble and added warm water or even a freeze dried food.

He's actually 17kg as due to his operations he has had to rest lots and only very short walks. His normal weight is around 15. Looking for a kibble that is good quality that we can occasionally add water to. Thought Burns was a good choice but not sure now.

    Transitioning back to dry

Our Ted has been on raw for over a year now, Durhams. However, over recent weeks he's begun to leave his food, or at least not finish a meal and needs to be encouraged to start it. He leaves bits of bones and chunks that are in the meal. Also his poo is very dry, crumbly and sometimes white...

    Patella Luxation

Ted now had his 2nd operation for patella luxation in his back legs. He's struggling a little second time round being penned in; more whinning, but getting lots of cuddles. Fingers crossed when he's fully mobile and able to begin training we'll get rid of the reactivity he has as his pain will...

    Patella Luxation

Ted has his operation on his back right leg yesterday. He's home now, it all went well and he's feeling sleepy, and a little out of sorts as expected. He needs the 'lampshade' on for about 10 days until the vet sees him for a check up but he'll be crated for 4 weeks. This will be a period of...

Anxiety / reactivity - advice please!

That may be an idea..our trainer has said that once he is up for moving about she will send some advice but his training began because of his reactivity with dogs so I guess we'll be taking it slowly and training and recovering simultaneously! 😉
