pleased to let you all know SHIREBROOK LEDGER is going a head

racing will be 160yds back DOG @2FT A POUND

CARAVANS AND TENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ....caravans can be taken here from bwra chps if you want to save return trips with caravan

main final prize money will be 1ST 600 POUNDS 2ND 300 POUNDS 3RD 200 POUNDS AND 4TH 100 POUNDS

CLASS WINNERS NOT IN FINAL WILL RECIEVE 40 POUNDS THERE WILL BE SCRATCH PUPS YEARLINGS AND VETS ANY ONE WANTING TO SPONSOR THRPHYS ETC CONTACT ME OR KAREN.

JUST LIKE TO THANK SHIREBROOK STAFF FOR MAIN SPONSORS AND SHIREBROOK WRC :thumbsup:

ALL RACING WILL BE 1ST TWO THRO TILL CLASS FINALS AND BE CONS IN ALL

Would just like to second our thanks to Shirebrook Staff Club, who have been whole heartedly behind the starting of this Whippet Club from day one and who have come up trumps with everything relating to the racing week in week out, nothing is too much trouble for them and to come forward with such a great sponsorship can only be good for whippet racing. Thank you.

Was thinkng along similar lines lol I dont do big ens but i might just think about it lol
 
Whilst whippet racing in general isn't a "big money sport" i do seriously think it's the only way to attract as many dogs as possible, not only that it instantly makes the event prestigious.

Havnt't been to shirebrook yet, not open racing last couple years. Looking foward to visiting next year hopefully with 3 dogs to run, 1 is a vet and the other 40lb so I got 1 of each.
