I am so sorry for your loss, there are no words that can make you feel any better right now. Just know that you did right by Zac, may he R.I.P. Run free little man :huggles:

We had Zak why Shell and Tam were in Devon he's been a part of our family along with his brother Danny from the time they were born, i talk to Shell when she got back, he was not doing well and we were all very worried about him, its never an easy decision to make but you have done the right thing, thinking of you all and like Dee had a few tears yesterday when Shell said it was time to let him go, he was love by everyone who new him and as he got older so like his dad he will be missed by us all R.I.P Zak xx

Thankyou all for your kind comments, you have all summed him up to a tee, Zac was loved by every one who knew him :)) so laid back and gentle at home,great on the race track and a great stud dog. He has left a big hole in our house today :( but we can still enjoy watching his off springs run. RIP Zac
 
So sorry for your loss. Must of been heartbreaking to bid farewell to such a wonderful dog.

Time heals and the pain replaced with fond memories of which I'm sure you'll have many to comfort you with. He has lived a life well and gone on to live on through his offspring. Try not to be so sad, you should be immensely proud not just of his achievements but of your own with Zak as well.

Sorry to hear about your loss Shel and Tam, he was a proper dog in his day, and a first class stud dog. His genes are in all of our best dogs.

so sorrry to here this shelley and tam. his daughter hopalong cassidy has inherited zaks wonderful termperment and is sitting next to me right now while typing this.
 
so sorry for your loss. when i came back into whippet racing he was my first choice for a puppy out of .
 
when i found out it gutted me, can only imagine what its like for all the mckays, this dog graced a lot of peoples hearts including mine, he was a pleasure to be a small part off him his character was amazing, he loved nothing else than sitting in his cage out the way waiting for someone to give him a treat out the fridge, rip old man loved you more than words could say, you can take care of zoe now too, as andy said it was an honour love ya old man x x x

He has definitely made an impact in whippet racing, not only through his racing but his offspring.

He'll always be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
