Scottish pedigree whippet racing championships. 2013

Just to let everyone know that The Scottish Pedigree Whippet Racing club will be hosting the first ever " Scottish Pedigree Whippet Racing Championships " on 11th of Aug 2013

And as this is also our 50th Anniversary of the Club we are going to go all out to make sure that it is a weekend to remember. So prizes up for grabs will reflect the magnitude of what this year means to us at the Club. But what better than to leave with the title of 1st Scottish Champion.

At this stage we would like to thank all our friends who have phoned pm'd and emailed us with their support and for offering to help on the day.

Totally agree this is something that has been going on behind the scenes for a wee while, as a club, we cant wait it will be brill.

This is a very special year for this wonderful club 50 years something to celebrate, we are in the process of finding out if we are actually the oldest club in Britain, we do hope we are lol if not no matter, we are going all out to make this as special as we possibly can.

Some of the people who will be coming to our open have never been to Scotland before and are very exited, they say we have magnificent scenery and would come just for that so please anyone who would like to come along to enter or even just spectate you will be more than welcome.

The open form will be put on shortly to download so come on all you Whippet Racers come along and join in on our fun.

Aww thanks Trish we cant wait lots of people who have never been to Scotland coming up to support us we are going to make this very special as it is an achievement 50 years its something to celabrate just hope the weather is kind to us as a club we would just like to thank all our lovely friends who have offred to come and lend a hand to us even the people who are coming without dogs to run just to support us and for the scenary lol so take care all
