Last Saturday whilst sitting on the mower cutting the grass for hours at Honeyhills :sweating: . I looked at our bend track and thought what a fabulous track we have, people have commented on it when they attended our opens. I thought what a waste and being a massive bend racing fan decided to talk to the members on the Sunday. We have decided to get the bend up and running from September. Shropshire Chris has already replaced some of the fencing, the rollers are in soak and Jacquie has rolled it on a regular basis and so with a little work we can get it up and running. The club is very lucky we have two tracks, two lure machines and traps and can run straight and bends at the same meet.

The reason i'm writing this is to invite all those who want to school on the bend and get their dogs cleared to come and get cleared with us. The club has some very experienced bend dogs for example Marley, Bentley, Ayda, Edee, Chermayeff, Bertie, Sandman and Means Business etc, we have the dogs that can be passed and can pass. So keep this in mind please i will be reminding everyone nearer the time.

Lets keep bend racing going (w00t)

Well done Dave & Good Luck, lets hope you get some takers.

Unfortunately EA run on the same days & Honeyhills, have to see if members are interested

Good one Dave, shame that we were not a bit closer as I have always loved watching my boys run on the bends, but it is just not possible to get regular bend racing near where we live. We had our best ever bend racing day when our old boy Ross (Duncton Legacy) won his half coat at your track, its a lovely bend. Best of luck with getting the bend up and running again and I hope lots of people take you up on your offer.

That's great that another bend track can b used ,,I'm not sure how far u are away but I enjoy the bends n often go to Bicester for some practice before the bend opens ( I've only been to two bend opens n my girl got into the last final)

Yes It's difficult to get the dogs cleared as not many clubs run bends

Good luck

well done honeyhills.....2011 was a great year for me on that bend...with amber and percy doing it for me..good luck..
