Hi,
I have a 6yo weimarner cross staffy that keeps getting recurring sores on her paws between the toes. This has been happening on/off since November and is affecting mostly her back paws but it's not contained to one paw. We've been to and from the vets who other than give us antibiotics and a suggestion to wash feet after walking (I always have done and continue to do so) shrug their shoulders at me.
These patches honestly don't seem to bother her, no lameness, changes in behaviour ect and they disappear after a week or so of salt water bathes twice a day. But I cant figure out the cause and was wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.
She's also got a few patches of fur around her paws pads that look like ingrown hair or just balding. Again vets tell me she's fine but was wondering if I should be plucking these hairs or something?
A few pics below of the current sore on her front paw.
Any advice would be welcome, thanks.
