It's a year since our much loved whippet, Josh, :wub: died from kidney failure aged just 10. I still really miss him :'( so just wanted to share some pictures of his life with you all. He was a lovely dog with a very gentle nature and we loved him to bits. He was also our first whippet so very special to us. Sorry if there are rather a lot of pictures - I couldn't choose my favourites! :b

First some pictures of him when he was a puppy. :wub: :wub:

Sorry, I can't seem to get the sizing right on these scanned photos!

No wonder our settee didn't last very long!

A few more recent pictures to finish.

He obviously passed on his de-stuffing skills to Muffin before he died! :clown:

Enjoying the train ride.

Richard, Josh & Muffin taken on our last holiday just a month before he died. It was great that he was well enough to enjoy it with us and at least we have a few pictures of Muffin and Josh together.

Taken on the same holiday. :huggles:

Last one of Josh & Muffin together. :huggles: I love this photo. :wub: Sadly, Josh was diagnosed just 2 days before we picked Muffin up but we are really glad we went ahead anyway. They did get on for those few months together and could have been such good friends if only Josh had lived for a couple more years. But at least we have all these photos to remember him by.

RIP Josh - we'll never forget you. :huggles:

Josh looked lovely, nice markings, love the way he got cumfy on your cushions, no wonder you miss him.

RIP Josh, what a lovely life he had with you - you were lucky to have found each other, even if it wasn't for long enough.

Lovely pics, but the one of Josh and Muffin together is really beautiful, thanks for sharing them.
