Hope it's a good day. Mum's at work all day and it isn't fair to leave all the other dogs outside in this weather, it's been bucketing down all morning. :(

We have always tried to support the Southern opens when we can but today has made me think we'll never do it again after being told what was said about "all us Northerners".

I'm sorry but it is not acceptable no matter how many dogs have already weighed in to admit the scales are weighing heavy and do nothing about it, when you're running in 2lb scratch classes it's also not fair to say "it's the same for all" when quite clearly it isn't (i believe there were quite a few that struggled to make their usual race weights and others had to move up a class).

I'm sorry if i upset anyone by adding this but i'm gobsmacked at how this was managed but I must thank those Southern racers who spoke up today but felt they had their hands tied.

Needless to say Cara didn't get a run & my blood pressure must be through the roof.

i heared about this early on today and totaly agree with vicky especialy aftre the long drive by the way what was said about us northerners

What exactly happened? I was hoping to pop along as a spectator, but conditions (it was horrible) were against me and was a bit lazy, but anyway, I'm confused as to what happened??

Paul
