Because 18 or above is the legal age to be able to fully consent to participating in research. This differs in some countries but since the study is being conducted in the UK, participants need to be 18 or above.

To go back to the first page with explanations, the information sheet, just close the tab and open the link again. This will start the experiment all over. Other instructions should be understood before clicking on next because there is no going back there :).

I would be very grateful if you do take the time to participate. If you have ever wondered how a (modern) psychology research looks like then this is a nice example :).
