Ete is making a fantastic recovery. The hole now seems to be plugged and the air under her skin is gradually going. Today, for the first time, she managed to eat a little turkey at lunch and then this evening eat a small tea. Still on pain killers and anti biotics. It's amazing how these dogs...
For some unknown reason 2 of my girls had a fight yesterday resulting in one, Ete, receiving a bite to her throat.
The vet I went to last night thought that she had punctured her trachea, which was allowing air to escape and pass under her skin. After giving her 2 lots of anti biotics and a...

Now we know where Bean has gone I hope it helps to know that Tracy and Tallulah couldn't be a better home to go to.
I bred Tracy's other whippet, Tallulah, and believe me, I am very fussy as to where my babies go!!!! Tracy really came up to the mark of the perfect whippet home and if she...
Tracy.
Thats sooooooooo lucky having 2 blue whippet girls! So hope Bean settles with you and Tallula and hopefully see you all for that walk on the Downs with my girls very soon.

P.s I always knew that 1 would never be enough, it never is when it comes to whippets.

His 1/2 brother, Coby, who is also by Jasbri First Night, didn't grow any more after 6 months, he just filled out a little. Not sure how tall he is but certainly not overly tall. Guto is growing into a handsome boy.

My Coby (Dejare Cobweb) is by Jasbri First Night and he can't be faulted for his temperament. Sounds like your puppy is following suit.
Good luck with him. :luck: He looks adorable.

Today, after further X rays which showed that Moss's lungs were worse than on Monday, despite strong anti biotics, the sad decision was made by his owner, Marion, to end his suffering.
He will be sadly missed especially by my girls.
Thank you so much to all the people who posted here and P.M'd...
A good friends whippet, (which I bred, so have a special interest in) is in a critical condition tonight and just wondered if anyone had any ideas or come across this problem themselves.
He had a cold type bug at Christmas which left him with a very snotty nose which he has trouble clearing...
The guy who finally arrived to unlock the doors must have had a warped sense of humour. He took one look at the waiting queue of LADIES, not one man amongst us, and proceeded to open the MENS first and then check each cubicle in the mens before opening the ladies.
Although I must admit that he...
Returning home on Monday morning there was a little blue whippet bitch running up and down the street in a panic. Although I live in Sussex, my thoughts immediately flew to Tilly. The poor thing was in such a state I couldn't get near her, even with the chicken I "acquired" from a passing...
I have a fawn bitch whose sire is Fleurberry Dogwood. Her registered name is Amber Cream At Dejare, known as Ete at home. She was bred by Mr & Mrs Ratcliffe. She also is very light boned with a tiny head, very pretty head. She has the sweetest of natures and very obedient.
Nicola, I think that...
I think it will take me much longer to come down back to earth than Sarah. (Well done Sarah, Sid looked lovely)
I was literally over the moon with Amie's win in the puppy class and then to win the group puppy was amazing!!!!
As it is Amies birthday today, yesterday was her last puppy class...
As I have an unexpected 5 minutes thought I'd save Alayna a job.
