Have just been sorting out some pictures we took of the dogs at the beach for DeeDee's birthday last Saturday, and just had to post these. These two handsome chaps are Socks and Fergus, who were asked to pose nicely with the lighthouse in the background, and despite the wind and incoming tide...

Mmmmmmmm yummy! Weather permitting DeeDee will be having a day out at the beach with her friends Socks and Fergus on Saturday, followed by a fish and chip lunch. Oh and she had a whole steak for her tea tonight, and says she had a lovely time ;)

Today is day 4 of bleeding, it's about the same, but she's more swollen now. Also, she's wanting to spend a lot of time on her own, which is so out of character. Normally in the evenings, she spends all night trying to worm up onto the sofa for cuddles, or at least sleeping on her duvet at out...

It's the constant licking that's making me feel :x I keep having to remind myself that she's a good girl for keeping herself clean but... :blink: How long does the actual bleeding bit go on for...3ish days?

UPDATE: DeeDee was 10 months old yesterday (11th November) and her 10 month birthday present - seems to be another "show" or possibly her real 1st season this time... She's been bleeding since yesterday morning, and although she's no baboon, there's definite swelling, and all her nipples are...
