why do you want to keep the dog away from the wheelchair? I myself is in a wheelchair and so far i have had no problems walking my dogs they have all been rescue dogs and you'd be surprised at how well they take to it.
hi, ive had boxers and they make lovely pets good with children and people, however they do have a problem with other dogs, not all but be aware of this especially if you get a rescued one, but labs have a great temperament mine wasn't smelly and loved everyone and dogs
eukanuba do a really good food for the elderly dogs its a dried food you can put water too, i got it for my elderly boxer when i had him and it worked a treat
if you go on www.lurcher.org and click on Dog Breeds in the yahoo Directory, page 3 it lists all breeds of dogs that are registered as lurchers

thanks everyone for your replys, will get some pic,s done soon i promise, but my dad is very ill at the moment, and ive been spending a lot of time with him
not at the mo but will take some soon and let you all see them,he.s very laid back and luckily does.nt mind cats, good job my mum has two ive had him 8 wks now and has settled in really well
