if i were you id use my COLT !! lol no, what you want i think.. is a whippet greyhound. it all depends if you want more or less bull in the pups.

again the old adage pops up "horses for courses".

john...with irish terrier in his injured dog and a monkey in his other one

ggod choice my friend. though if you want an extra gear use a non-ped whippet (whipp grey). your call either of these are the tool you need

It really depends on what you intend to do with the pups. If you're intending racing as a lurcher then a non ped whippet will certainly improve the speed. However if you're wanting to race against non peds the pups probably won't be fast enough.

There's quite a bit to consider; How big a pup do you want? Is colour important ? Selling of the remaing pups (unless you're like me and tries to keep them all)

First cross whippet/ghds typicaly use a small whippet stud dog so be aware using such a dog is likely to throw some small pups. IMO you would be better using a full ghd rather than a 3/4 or 7/8 ghd cross as the stud as the offspring are likely to be faster.

Pity i dont live near you, cause this boy would be ideal for you.The one in the middle. He is 5/8 greyhound /3/8 whippet,60lb of pure power. He is recovering from a broken leg at the moment, but is one mean machine. He would be an ideal x to you're bitch. Those are his sister's on either side.
