I was really pleased with Ivan - he was too busy being in love with Liz's Mabel that he forgot to hump and go stiff! :huggles: He actually showed off the shape I see at home and managed to get placed!
Vanna, Millie put your pic up too, at the end so keep scrolling!

Thanks Moriate. Those are great pictures. It's definitely the Minsitry of Silly Walks - if you look at Lucy's expression she thinks so too!!
Yup, that's Ivan and Millie's Lucy. What Ivan thinks he's doing there I don't know! He's either goose stepping or doing the Ministry of Silly Walks!!
I was very proud of Gladly, though. He retired from lure-coursing 4 years ago when he damaged his shoulder, but now he's a veteran and can run...
I was stewarding at the Whippet Club in April and the Field Officer wanted to see that all stewards had a copy of the KC Stewarding instructions. Our Secretary had them to distribute, but they were still on the Sec's table (Most of us have been stewarding for years, so it probably didn't seem...
Thats a new one to me :o Sounds to me as though he dosnt want the person to use his dog and hasnt got the bottle to say `no ` .
Personally unless the dog in question was SO magnificent then Id go elswhere. £350.00 ( in my opinion ) is FAR too expensive for an unproven dog ( unless its won...
It was quite a family affair. BCC & BOB was Claudia Ledger's (Liz's sister)Tradewind Touchstone!
If we're having a little brag - my Harriet got 2nd in Veteran bitch .... and TWO sausages!!!!
Pam,
Yes, they are all related in a roundabout way, but Mum has got a few more generations in than I have. Harriet is Dilly's Aunt, and Dilly is Jilly's grandmother (I think - or maybe she's her great grandmother - I can't quite remember :b .)
I think Mum has entered too, and if she has...
Had to laugh at that one Jackie. It reminds me of one time when I came down to Earls Court from Scotland by coach. I think it was the last Crufts in London. Anyway, I left home around 10pm to catch the coach at midnight. For some reason Mum couldn't go and I was showing her beautiful Biggles...
I'll be taking 3. Harriet (Ringmore Cantilena), her son, Gladly (R. Drinking Partner) and Ivan (Celebrindal Silver Gwydion) who is her grandson. Quite a family affair!! :)
It must have been very disappointing for both you, Colin, and his owner. I can see why she wanted to try. She's got a nice imported dog, a very prestigious show, she's managed to get him entered, and across to Australia, found someone that she trusts to look after him properly and give him the...
I'm not going, I'm afraid. I'm hosting one of the Midland's judges :p who is arriving on Friday night. Can't really say "Nice to see you Mum, but i'm off to bed now. Getting up at 4!!" Especially as Saturday's her birthday!
Well guys, I've finally made it home. It was wonderful to meet everybody - Lana, Cartman, Angus, Gajo, Kirislin, Malin, Ibiza - have I missed anybody out? Thanks for the compliment Cartman - the cheque's in the post and do I get any commission on the book about Angus?!!)
Gajo, was it you who...
