thanks - swelling now going down, must have been a sting like you say, or an allergy

My 8 month old whippet bitch Meg has today developed some sort of lump on her lower jaw, actually looks like when a human has an abscess. I've examined her mouth and cant find anything wrong with her, and she doesnt seem to be in any pain. Any ideas of what it could be ? Thanks in advance

just to let everyone know, Xena moved in with us today. She's absolutely beautiful and seems to be settling in well. Just had her out on a 6 mile walk and now she's asleep on her new bed. Many thanks to Uggybugs for putting me in touch.
