Lump On Jaw - Any Ideas ?

My 8 month old whippet bitch Meg has today developed some sort of lump on her lower jaw, actually looks like when a human has an abscess. I've examined her mouth and cant find anything wrong with her, and she doesnt seem to be in any pain. Any ideas of what it could be ? Thanks in advance

It might be a sting from a wasp or bee. If it is, the swelling should go down within 24 hours.

Watch her eating and drinking for any signs of problems chewing or swallowing and keep an eye on her temperature.

If it does not settle down or she has any of the above problems, the safest thing is a trip to the vets :luck: :wub:

thanks - swelling now going down, must have been a sting like you say, or an allergy
