Here in NL everyone has a family 3rd party insurance. It covers children and pets.. my neighbours son burnt down a barn ,,, all paid by the insurance.. It only costs a few pounds but the peace of mind is well worth it.

When Murphy was very young we tried raw and he was sick so we gave up for a while..We tried steamed lamb heart which he ate with gusto but when his allegies got really daft we tried raw again and this time he stuck with it.. Im so glad because his allergies are now minimal..

Wow, yes Murphy was 27kg at his last vet check and the vet says hes on the fatter side so we have cut his meals slightly..He is very active and had been getting 2 x 250gr now reduced to 2x 200gr

I agree go to a good pet shop and find one that fits well. Dont just go by the advice on the packaging. We used one for a little while with our BC because he had never been on a lead and would tug like a train I was ill at the time and I didnt have the strength to hold him on a normal lead so...

I have to say we use advantix spot on during summer /hot months but the rest of the year we just give a daily sheepfat with garlic block and there have been no fleas for many many years even before Murphy came along.. Ticks ?? one or two during the summer but we walk in long grass and woodland...

He was fine until our idiot neighbour scared him with a yard broom and thought it was funny a huge booming man with a broom and a 5 month old pup.. After that he was firstly barky at men then screechy children as has been mentioned the quick...

Oh darn it...the lights have gone out again . because of the transformer being out of action they re routed us all and its overloaded that transformer...:(

OH and I had a very romantic evening yesterday due to a fire in an electricity transformer our whole neighbourhood was in the dark so it was candlelight and playing cards all evening... Power was restored around 2am. My Christmas cards arrived today and Im really pleased with the result
