Everytime I washed my dogs my youngest was like this and would hump my other dogs and anything.
I realised it was the new shampoo bar I bought it was the smell making him act this way, maybe something they've washed them with?
thanks for the help everyone
I've also wondered about corn pads, at the moment he's really sore so I'm having to give pain relief.
I'm trying to soften the pad and hopefully it will draw the corn out. I've also tried filing it down but it's back out the pad the next day.
Marley gets his corns...
You are right surgery worries me. I actually looked up corn plasters and corn remover for humans and its not safe for dogs sadly, as it was something I had thought about.
I can remove them easily, it's they just appear after a week. I'm not keen on surgery as Marley is 10 but it's awfully painful for him.
Thank you I'll definitely check that out
We're thinking of the flexor tendon cut, I've also heard it's got a better result and less likely to return.
At the moment I'm soaking his foot and using burts bees hand salve.
Marley has been suffering with a corn the boots give him comfort when he walks.
We have been thinking of an operation just trying to find someone local is hard.
2 out of 3 of my whippets suffer, yellow foamy bile in the morning, I make them toast before bed and it soaks the bile up. Sometimes with Oliver is gets that bad he can't eat so he takes an antacid before bed ( recommended by my vet)
It was Oliver's 5th birthday on Thursday and Marley's 8th yesterday they got new toys and ostrich bones, can't believe my Marley is 8 years old! Even though Oliver is 5 he acts like a baby still.
Happy birthday boy's xx
