Thanks. Will bear all these in mind as I'm sure they will come in useful with Teddy and his love for all things dead, decayed and the fecal matter of horses :)
I read an old book of my Mum's once about a similar thing. Supposedly true stories of young children who had imaginary friends that came with evidence they might exist, or said they spoke to relatives long-gone before they were born, remembered past lives and when the facts were checked they...
Hope you didn't take my post as criticism. Was just debating the point. There is water in antifreeze, but we consume that. This is a similar point that the nutter "Food Babe" is always making. 'Don't eat this bread because it contains a chemical that is also used in yoga mats '(yes seriously.)...
Wondering what sports/ shows/ events people enjoy doing with their dogs? I have a 6 month old cocker spaniel, not kc regd. He is quite athletic and likes to be active. Wondering what things we could do togther in the future...
She's lovely. Oo I love guessing breeds (don't have a clue really though.) I'm going to go with some sort of terrier/ Jack Russel in there as look like she could be more coarse-haired when she's older?! Though just realised she looks quite floppy eared like my dog. I'm going spaniel/terrier/collie
This is what Teddy is like. He LOVES other dogs and playing and no food is worth being able to play with another dog. I can see both sides of the situation. I do think being able to socialise for some dogs is important to them. Just like it is for some people. Teddy would be miserable if he...
I gave my dog a bath when he was 8 or 9 weeks old. With Bob Martin puppy shampoo. He's now 6 months old and had a professional groom and 2 baths at home since then. I just do it if he needs one.
No advice sorry. Only that sometimes you can purchase the drugs (if your dog is on any) from the vets on an online well-reputed pharmacy for a lot cheaper.
Maybe put something soothing on them? Like a very thin layer of barrier cream (sudocrem, savlon) if it is on the external of the ears.
Thanks Terry for info. Will deffo come in useful in the future. The smell has gone now, it was on his breath.
We've had a vomiting bug here but are on the mend today. Looking after sick kids, when you're sick and family are 6 hours away is pants.
So, charm itself AKA Teddy decided it would be lovely to find a long-dead rabbit carcass at the beach today and run around with it. He's had a bath and his teeth cleaned but his breath still smells of it. It's quite disgusting. Any ideas how to rid? I've got a dental fluid thing that you add to...
My Mum isn't a vegetarian anymore haha. Me and 1 other sibling are vegetarian, one is a pescetarian (but only eats fish occasionally) and one eats meat occasionally.
I got Teddy's crate off EBay and just got the size recommended for his breed. It was a bit too big for him as a smaller pup. His vaccinations we followed the vet's advise as there's different brands that aren't compatible. He had his second jabs and will have his next at a year old I think.
He...
I've been a vegetarian my whole life as my Mum brought us up that way :) not at all forced, just a way of life. I just don't see meat as food having never eaten it... I just look at it and think why would I eat a burnt body lol (sorry.) My children and husband do eat meat though.
