it's interesting that molly is sensitive to fish, as that's what causes Brude's motheaten coat problem. It took us 12 months of faffing with vets and getting nowhere to find that out for ourselves

I know that sickening feeling all too well... every time I hear Brude's nails scrape as he walks. My ears are fine tuned to it

I've been threatened with the rspca myself. I was training Brude to sit and wait outside a local shop. He was distracted, and I got hold of his chin and spoke firmly to him. A woman went mad at me, telling me she has two beagles, and I should put him on a lead

Brude's biggest aid to recovery was his own determination, and if she does have beagle in her, Inca should be the same ;)
Brude still has a leg that isn't 100%, due to a complication and consequent muscle wastage which can never be cured, but...

We miss being near the coast. I think we'd have to move to Birmingham to be more land locked than we are now!
There is bound to be some trigger for this that you're just not spotting. Some things which you may have overlooked are his mumm coming into season, one of the humans in his pack 'coming into season', or that this person who is talking to you is disrupting what usually happens when the dogs go...
