Aw, thank goodness you saved him! He's lovely. In that second pic he has a look of GSD about the face. Can't put my finger on why, maybe its just the expression reminds me of our old girl around the eyes :unsure:

Sarah, I love it that you're posting all these home pictures :huggles: Loved your Poole Quay bike pics and I love Chesil too. It looks so peaceful and smooth, but those waters were dangerous in day's gone by. Wreckers, and nasty tides!

There's a list of dog friendly beaches in FAQ, and some links to local authorities who list that kind of thing. Good luck. If you find some good ones then add to the FAQ thread because it's always useful to hear about a good dog friendly beach :thumbsup:

I don't know if there is a particularly good time, you just know when it feels right. I've introduced a new pup when my first whippet was a year old, and things were fine, then I introduced a rescue when the first two were 2 yrs and 3 yrs old, and that was fine too. When you do feel the time...
