My mums friends daughter brought a border collie from the dogs home yesterday. They suspect it has been abused because it has alot of scars on its body and it a nervous wreck and wees every time she touches it.
They also say it is not house trained or lead trained at its six months old...

In the vets today a dog had to have her tail amputated because some stupid kids tied an elastic band around its tail! Virtually the whole tail appart from an inch was cut off because she had chewed at it so much it had died and gone gangerous it stunk!

today was realy quite and only saw one operation (a springer spaniel being sprayed) so inbetween consulting i cleaned the theter and the kennels and prepared the needles for sterilisation.
Had another whippet in today it had been transfered from one of the companys other clinics realy to go...
what do you think about a new board as a memorial for pets who cant be with us any more it could be used to mark death or to post on anniversaries of death
