I would wait till your dog is at least a year old as having two pups (ive heard) is hard work as each pup needs individual training, attention, walks etc. You should leave it till your dogs older then you can be fully bonded with her before the new pup comes bounding along and demanding your...

well im not a breeder, mum breeds labs but i dont too involved.
i would just want a perfect stud, that had had no problems throughout his life and was well built and within breed standard. i just go on gut instinct when i say that-

i'd advise that you keep it clean, because if its not healing and keeps scabbing- it could get bigger and infected. It sounds like it could be a deep cut if its been there for 2 months.
