I don't know you Patsy, but I am very sorry to hear about Toolah.
I hadn't looked into K9 for a while. Last weekend my greyhound was sick and had wee'd everywhere in the house for no apparent reason. His stomach was fine, he had no temperature, and the vet ruled out a few things. He kept...
Its sounds roughly like the amount my smallest greyhound (25kg) eats. I find that apart from one greedy guts, mine stop eating when they are full. (Anything stolen is just a treat!)
Now she is very old she also gets a 1/2 tub Naturediet breakfast in addition to a dinner that size, and biscuits...
Memories of my summer holiday come flooding back! The grass wasn't so green though. Good sausages from the butcher in the village further up the hill.

Didn't he give Milly Lab a necklace once? Did she then go off with someone else?
I love the early Milly/Zoomie love stories........................when he went away to crufts rings bells.
Early poo hunting tales were funny too. He collected them in his bed.
And Zoomie and "lickies" after...
I hope you feel you can come back soon Fiona. I'm not sure what we'll talk about on our evening walks if there is no Zoomie and Lottie news :(
We love Zoom

A greyhound is classed as a puppy until it is two years old. Therefore you get "puppy" races. A bit misleading to people not involved in racing.

I recently bought and used a whole box of chicken Nature Diet and had no problems at all.
When I haven't been able to get ND I have used Chappie Chicken and Rice from tins for my greyhounds' breakfast. This seems as gentle on their stomachs as ND.
Try and stick to the Nature diet if you are...
Hi Lesley
Hare Coursing was never about killing hares, so if they want to call themselves hare killers let them!
Sorry to be picky! lol

PS you are correct-whatever you call it it is banned.
Greyhounds are beautifully natured dogs as we have all said. Left to their own devices they will rule the roost. They will also walk all over you given half the chance!
We just take tips from Super Nanny. Talk in a firm voice and mean it, stick to a routine etc!
There is no need to shout at...
As far as I understand it the RGT cannot turn away greyhounds NGRC registered or not. When they collect money they do not state "only certain greyhounds are rehomed by us".

I would only add that they each have their own characters. I have a greyhound who is a bit funny about non-greyhounds, but the other is fine.
I would also would not recommend putting a greyhound on a long lead. Definately not a retractable lead. A lot of nasty accidents have happened when...
The kennels I recommended to Jingles have nothing to hide. You can see all of the kennels.
The only reason mine lose a bit of weight is due to the amount of time they spend charging around the paddock!
I had to laugh after one stay, as Rosie our greyhound had persuaded the owner to feed her...
I imagine that there is only one kennel in Outwell, if it is the same one, we drive 2 1/2 hours each way to take our dogs there. The kennels are huge (even for a greyhound, so massive for a whippet!) and they regularly go into a large paddock.
I can Pm you details if you like.
