We went to the beach today to give the dogs a good run and I remenbered to take the camra (w00t) ...............So I was playing around and took a few pic of the pond and guess what :rant: The battery went , so sorry no whips on the beach :oops:

lovely swans but they can be nasty things,we have a pair on a lake not far from me and every year the female lays eggs the male gets very aggresive to the point he kills canadian geese,i think he hates them,one year some canadian geese had young and the swan killed all the babies :( ,so i dont go up there anymore it was too upsetting.
 
You only have to park the car and they all come at you . It,s the seagulls that are a pain

So do we, they nest in the reedbeds about 50 yards away every year, and have an ongoing battle with a pair of Canadas for about 3 months in early Spring, starting about 4 am every morning :wacko: . I wouldn't be surprised if they kill the goslings as I've never seen any, that's if they ever give th goose enough peace to sit :(
 
Memories of my summer holiday come flooding back! The grass wasn't so green though. Good sausages from the butcher in the village further up the hill.
