Had a quiet Sunday for me. The visit was cancelled due to Mummy feeling washed out, so I made a start on writing my Xmas cards, checked my FB account and wrapped some more parcels. Tonight it's TV and cupcakes, in that order! LOL!
Got a busy week ahead, (don't we all!) so happy week everyone...
We recently changed our printer from Lexmark to HP consequently I have 2 ink cartridges left - 1 colour 1 black, both approx half full. If anyone has a Lexmark all in one printer and would like to have these for a £5 donation to Scruples, let me know. I can't charity shop them, and they are too...
I agree Banana but then I might be a little bit biased! Here she was at 2 weeks. She is smiling now and making gurgling noises! Who needs a puppy when we have this little darling to cuddle!! (ME!) LOL!

Yes, my thoughts are also to get some help - probably paid, as they might be more reliable! - and see how things go. It is not good that the little one be cooped up for so long, so it would pay to get help in the long run. Try your vet. They maybe able to help point you to someone reliable. Do...
Wow what a fount of information you are!! LOL! You are so right about the media portrayal of big dogs....I love greyhounds and deerhounds but the sheer size and strength of the big working dogs is too much for me!
Thanks for sharing!

Well, after tonight I hope HUGO has risen leaps and bounds in the ratings! I honestly think Ashleigh will win because she's so sweet yet up for trials. Anyone else vote Ashleigh to win????

LOL that's a lovely story Eingana, (where does that name come from??) I can't imagine a GSD nursing kittens! What a wonderful Nana!! I've always been a bit afraid of big dogs, especially Rotts and GSD, although there is no reason why!!! :>
The way animals remember sounds/sights/ etc is quite...
Au revoir Linda! Nice lady, but as you say, quiet and a bit overshadowed in the camp! Who next we wonder? Colin? Helen? I think the great British public are a bit sadistic when it comes to `Celebrity` and it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't come down to Rosemary and Eric!!! (w00t) (w00t)...
LOL I hope she doesn't feel out numbered by all those moggies!!! (w00t)
Jacques is becoming so chilled out now....he did his "Training" tricks for the postman today, and although he didn't get treats straight away, he spun round and round as he was so happy!!
We guessed he would claim the rug...
You may well be right Northolm, but my son reckons she either had counselling or tranquilisers!!!! That, or they threatened to chuck her out!! But well done everyone who `trialed` and made it!

Most of you who know Carol, know that she has been quite poorly during the past year, but is recovering well now.
Today is her birthday, so we wish her Many Happy Returns of today! :huggles:
She is currently nursing a nasty cold/cough, so not receiving visitors (very thoughtful!)...

Lovely hayball2001 - thanks for letting us know. I have bought some thru the JR Rescue but will certainly add to my whippet-card pile via Scruples!
Best wishes,

Like a toddler being potty trained, you have to set a regime and keep to it. Out in the yard/garden at regular intervals rain or shine. Walks obviously mean fun/play time to your pet at the moment! o:)
I would put her in the garden the moment you come back, and wait until she has "performed"...
My printer has finally done the first batch of Sam the Patchwork Whippet books for me. "Sam Goes to Tea with Lily and Alfie" is the story of a time when Sam went to tea with two new friends - a blue whippet named Alfie and his half-sister Lily, an elderly but elegant collie.
The first of 7...
