Hector looks really well, it's amazing how the time flies. Rosie just celebrated her 1st 'gotcha' day last week, I can't imagine life without the little minx now (even if Rifle does give me 'that' look imploring me to take her batteries out!) ;)
I'd forgotten how scrawny she was........
Hi Eve, I don't come on here very often these days but just happened to log in and saw this. I remember Daisy's problems but can't remember exactly what foods she reacts badly to. If it's any help I've heard a few people raving about Barking Heads
How infuriating when you had found a diet...
Naughty? Whirlwind? No, this cannot be true...... a face of serious and utter whippet puppy loveliness and cuteness, therefore able to be forgiven any minor misdemeanour o:)  o:)
I hope that local radio stations are all alerted and warning people to be aware. So many people listen to the local stations for traffic alerts when driving that at least making them aware there is a dog loose may make them watch their speed even if there is nothing they can do to help catch...
 It is heartwarming to see people working together with the best interests of the dog first and foremost. Having transported a few rescues I'm only too aware of how easily an accident like this can happen. Just hoping and praying that this little one is picked up soon.
 Well done Ali, although we all know the phrase 'failed fosterer' so the rehoming bit could be the hardest part ;) I'm sure Felix will thrive in no time at all.
I am sorry to read about your loss, perhaps a companion for your boy may well help but it would have to be the right dog and rescue dogs often do have issues which need to be worked through. I certainly wouldn't rule out getting a more mature and confident dog as a companion but perhaps it...
A very valid point. The ones that really worry me are bitches being advertised as being in season but there are also genuine adverts out there and we shouldn't assume that everyone advertising a dog for sale is uncaring/cruel or whatever. If people need to use the advertising sites then I'd...
Wonderful to see Molly looking so happy, how different her future could have been had it not been for everyone who stepped up to the mark and made a contribution, be it financial or otherwise, to securing a happy future not only for Molly but her puppies as well
I have to smile when...
I am glad im not by myself on the pants idea lol , I think I offended people and I really didn't mean to at all :( all I was trying to say is don't stress don't let it ruin your holiday, have a good time, and don't let the fact there could be male dogs about stop you from walking the same...
I have to say I agree with Katie.... I've had some strange looks when teaching recall but so far have avoided being detained under the Mental Health Act..... (w00t) It's about making your dog think that being with you is exciting and a really good thing. Timing is important, once your pup...
I couldn't believe how quickly my dog responded to the correct treatment. Prior to the steroid treatment I was actually thinking that I would have to consider having him PTS because he was in such dreadful pain. Keeping everything crossed for you that your girl responds as quickly as Rifle did.
 I couldn't agree more.... just because there is the physical presence of a human does not mean that the pup/dog(s)are getting the attention that they need. My personal circumstances decree that I am at home most of the time, but that in itself can create a dependence and I had to...
What a little sweetie! I find it so sad that at some point someone has taken the trouble to do some basic training with him, it's the rejection of a once loved dog that I find so difficult to understand. The advert for the Dogs Trust, where the dog is left tied by the side of the road watching...
