Leave them to get on with it IMHO. They'll find a way once the humans stop interfering. Also sometimes they work it out on their own when they've had a little rest and time to think it over. It may all happen tomorrow...
Good luck
A very non PC question... But...
can you tell me what (assumed UK) breeding, what lines do they descend from? Nevedith, Shalfleet....
Please pm or email me if you prefer
Does anyone know for sure? I've got two different answers from the two people I've asked (both ch show judges).
The definition of progeny in my Chamber's dictionary says "offspring, descendants, race". Not much help but it implies it's not restricted to immediate offspring.
Is 'progeny' (as in definition of progeny class) restricted to the immediate descendants of the dog/bitch? or does it include all offspring eg grandchildren??
help please
puzzled
Not me, this would have been Max's breeder and now Crystal's owner, Lesley Fletcher.
Both of us will all be at the Grimsnargh show on the 28th, weather permitting.
Hope to see you there, breed shows are a very good way to decide what sort of whippet you want.

Agree entirely.
You sound just the type of home I would like to have my pups. Actually I have put off having another litter for at least another year as it seems that at the moment there are an awful lot of whippet puppies looking for homes (20 on the KC website alone).
I hope all these...
OMG it's got to be Stella for me. (Like her ear placement too).
For what it's worth (probably not a lot!) I would run them all on a bit longer before deciding because it's not difficult to place such nice bitch pups and you never know how they may change places.

That's your view. To me it was definitely worth the journey to show under a rare species of judge who has the courage to award on the basis of merit, this applies to both shows.
