i agree that they do respond best to kindness, it has been proved that aversive techniques don't produce the same results as positive ones. I just think cesar milan gets a lot of flack for his work with aggressive dogs, but people hardly mention the stuff he does with scaredy ones or indeed...

haha i have the same prob with mine, he will lie in the sun, literally until he is sick. I have a foil blanket and a few sticks to create him a bit of shade when he's out for the count. Or i put a wet tea towel over him. She is so lovely, those huge paws! :)
