my whippet X Bryn has had a middle toe removed from a rear paw..this was removed about five years ago. He has no problem getting about and he can run jump etc as normal..the only difference is that he limps a bit if walking on the beach but that is all. He is almost 13 years old now and has not...
Back from the vets.......Badger has had a serenia injection to stop him feeling sick as we suspect that he wants to eat but doesn't feel well enough...he also has a ten day course of antibiotics...his heart murmur is still very bad(lol not that it was going to get better).
If he goes down hill...
Hi thanks...This all began over a week ago but the weather has only been warm the last four days.....he vomited up a load of bile and grass at two this morning and has done the same a couple of times earlier in the week so its either a bug or a touch of pancreatitis..seems funny that two dogs in...
Yes, all my dogs have their teeth cleaned every day much to their disgust..it was the first thing I checked along with taking his temperature...I shall be poking a thermometer up his bum again a little later :clown:
I had a really good look at all his teeth again this morning but they look...
Hi I tried both your ideas but neither worked (w00t)
thanks anyway....it is driving me nuts just in case someone has tried to message me but I've not got an actual message.
I am sooo not checking it again :clown:
don't know if anyone can help but in the top right of the screen it constantly says "1 New message" but when I click on it, there is no message..it's been there for about a week and won't go away...is it a pm from a ghost..ie a phantom pm lol?
please make it go away its scary :clown:
Hi thanks guys...he just looks at his food and either won't touch it or just eats a small mouthful then pick up another bit then spits it out.
He is the least fussy dog in the world..the only times he has ever turned away from his food has been if he is ill or when Woody died but he's always...
Hi thanks..Badger is booked in to see the vet on Monday so hopefully he will recover from this, unless of course he is losing his appetite due to being old..
Hey guys..Moonpig has been much improved and so has James..they are both back to normal.
Badger my oldie whippet however is still not a happy chap...he seems ok in himself but he just won't eat...I can get him to maybe eat two or three pieces of kibble and that's it..next time you offer it he...
ok now we have a third dog vomiting...James the beagle boy too sooo I'm hoping this is all unrelated to Zoe's pancreas and just a bug doing the rounds....I've never washed the floors so many times in one day lol
Thanks everyone, just a little update...Moonpig has stopped eating and has been vomitting today and I am waiting to talk to the vet and decide what we do next as she has had a few good days.
However just to add to my worries we now have Badger the 13yr old whippet off his food and very...
My whippet Badger and my whipX Bryn would both have issues with an adult male and Badger won't tolerate them when he's out but he has always been fine accepting puppies ( although he will definitely tell them off if they annoy him which has resulted in the odd bitten ear.)
you have to get the blue boy...Oh my God he is absolutely beautiful...makes me wish I had the kind of lifestyle that would allow an Iggie...sadly we'd probably break one with our blundering gang of hounds!! Besides I would probably die if I owned a dog who regularly peed in the house lol
you...
Hi Zoe is doing pretty well all things considered...she kept down her tiny meal last night and again this morning...she will be having another shortly when her food has cooled down. As long as she keeps the food down, she can stay at home..the moment she can't manage she has to go back in. We...
Right I finally have five minutes so I can update this at last....
Moonpig has had a comfortable night and in herself seems reasonably happy....
the vet said she has shed some intestinal lining which, whilst looking quite horrific, doesn't concern him too much...he said that given what has...
classic Moonpig..
thanks guys..she's really not looking too good at all but if there's anything that can be done, she is with the one man who can fix her!!.
Hi
I haven't posted anything until now but Moonpig is very seriously ill
I need good vibes for her please...don't know what exactly is wrong or what the prognosis but it appears as though her pancreas is either digesting itself or digesting her intestine.
WE are going to see her at...
