Hi everyone
Just to let you know that Macey is eating and drinking better.
The vet did an ultrasound to rules other reasons for her bleeding and that came back clear. They are now doing tests on her poo so see if there are any parasites or anything else.
I think once these tests are back and...
Well got a call this morning from the vet and she said she had more blood and poo, but all the tests are coming back negative, so it looks more like stress.
Fingers crossed she will be home soon.
Thanks for all your pms and calls.

We were lucky the accident was at 8pm and they only do MRIs on Tuesday an Thursday at Glasgow so when I phoned on the Tuesday for advice, I called the vet and asked him to get her in that day!!!
Hi everyone
Sorry I can't be happier but Macey can't get home today as there was too much blood in her bowel movement.
They are keeping her on a drip and givign her antibiotics as it may be a bug she has picked up.

Hi all
Just to let you know to current situation:
The MRI scan showed that none of the discs were compressed, but the spinal cord was quite severely severed. She can lift her head, movement seems to be improving and her reflexes were good. The vet said she had seen worse cases recover, but she...
Thank you everyone - your prayers are working, it looks like the Rainbow Bridge will have to wait for a bit longer for my wee beautiful baby!!!!
They might not have to operate and the words 'She might be back by Friday' were said. All a bit sketchy at the moment!!!
I have won the lottery...
Thank you everyone for your kind words.
She is no better today and her left side is poor. She is going through to Glasgow to see a specialist who will advise us.
