    How Much?

I think you were completely ripped off and would definitely query the bill....when Parker had his first back tooth removed it was 80 quid....when he later broke the other large back tooth and had to have it removed it was 120 quid and they considered it a tricky op as the tooth shattered and it...

    How Much?

I think you were overcharged and personally would question why you were charged call out plus consult since you wouldn't have a call out without a consultation, to me that is charging twice for the same thing...all the vets around here charge call out but do not add consult on top. I must...

Button - Dog Chewing Her Own Fur

Personally I would go with a buster collar for a few days just to break the cycle... we have to do this with Bryn who has stress related issues and tends to give himself random lick granuloma's when he has a particularly bad time.

After A Long Walk...a Lie In The Sun.....

they are cute but don't be fooled by that last picture...James was growling at Bill even though they were cheek to cheek...James was very very tired and Bill kept fidgetting (w00t) ...they actually had a couple of proper fights today which I didn't get involved in, I just watched them and...

    Wish Moonpig Good Luck...please X

I'm so sorry about your troubles and the loss of lovely William. X Moonpig is absolutely fine and recovered from her operation...she is just having a bit of trouble with her pancreatitis again so she's on tiny low fat meals several times day to try not to over tax her pancreas.

    Nosebleeds.

Hi thanks for the reply...no he couldn't have hurt it, he has just been snoozing on his vetbed in the sun...but I did go to the front door to get the post and it's possible he sneezed perhaps and made it bleed..it was just one nostril that bled and the blood was very bright red and quite thin so...

    Nosebleeds.

Hi This morning my 13 year old whippet Badger had a nose bleed...just from one nostril and I managed to stop it by applying a cold compress to the bridge of his nose...but it has given me a bit of a scare...I rang the vets but they said obviously if its stopped, to just keep an eye on things...

    A Question Of Timing

I feed mine twice a day, sometimes I split the meals into three, after the vet told me off for feeding once a day...he said their blood sugar fluctuates and it was better for them to be fed twice or three times rather than letting them go so long as 24 hrs between meals....now I feed them at...
