We know he shouldn't be out at the moment, but it was so warm and sunny that I couldn't deny him a few minutes out in the garden :b
He was soon back in his crate with his birthday present - a 'senior' kong stuffed full of tasties :x
Its still early days and we don't know what the outcome...

His celebrations have been dampened by his poor health and his treatment of total cage rest, but we said 'What the hell!' and treated Devon to what he likes best - being outside with the sunshine on...

It's only 4 days til his 12th birthday :sweating: but I did treat him to a very expensive heat-reflecting quilt as an early present :huggles:
I think Santa might manage to find him a nice treat - but knowing Devon, all he wants is a fried egg sarnie followed by a long kip under a warm...
Devon went to see a specialist yesterday at the Davies Vet Specialists in Hitchin, he had a thorough examination, xrays and an MRI scan. The vet was lovely with Devon and explained things really well to us. She said that apart from this disc problem, Devon's general health is excellent - good...
