Hi K9,

Sorry to have been scarce for the last month. We've had lots of issues with viruses on the computer I work on, and so haven't been online as much as usual.

Some of the people here were following my small frozen semen litter by the late Ch. Chelsea Drakkar of Oxford as he has descendents in the UK and Europe as well.

The co-breeder, Leila, and I grew out both puppies from this litter. We have decided to go on with the bitch and place the male, who is already enjoying his wonderful new home and is very happy there.

So, as Leila grew out the bitch I didn't have the ability to take photos of her, but she is here now to be shown over the winter, and so now I can introduce our keeper puppy from the Drake x Ch. Diablesse Surrey Hill Say Yaha litter......

Diablesse Surrey Hill Say Sorbet (pron. "Sore-Bay")

She is off to a good start here in the US with four 1sts out of Puppy class in her first five times entered, and a major reserve at her last show.

At 6 months and first weekend out...

And in front of our woodstove at 7 months of age.

This is a very old-fashioned look for both our line and for the US as a whole, but she has been well-received so far. She's also keen on the lure and looks good to be another good dual-purpose dog for us.

p.s. the beaded necklace I am wearing in the above photo is a "Cathie Brown" original. I got more compliments on the necklace than the dog, but that's how it goes....

Sorbet is looking great - she is such a beautiful curvy shape. Just my cup of tea.

And what a fabulous start she has got off to, long may it continue!

Glad she's turning out such a lovely girl  - keep up the good start Sorbet

Sorbet is so elegant, really beautiful no wonder you have done so well with her and long may it continue :huggles:

Gosh, she has really grown up into a beautiful young lady. Nice necklace too.

Nice to see Sorbet again, she is growing into a lovely young lady with some great results in the show ring well done.

It dosnt seem long ago we were looking at these babies, she has grown into a beautiful, elegant bitch :luck: :luck:

Thank you, everyone. You are all very kind. :huggles:

Sorbet is not big for the US and I think she will finish out at just under 20". We have gotten moderate size in our two litters from Drake.

I will try to be more participatory on K9 now that our computer woes seem to be behind us.

She looks so much like her great-great-grandfather on mum's side, Am.Can.Ch. Surrey Hill's My Man Godfrey, that it is positively spooky. She does take more after her dam's side in style than her sire's, but she is still a Drake daughter and we are lucky to have her gene pool. Drake daughters have been wonderful producers all over the world and we hope that she will be a great brood bitch for our future. In the meantime, we will enjoy her puppyhood and hope she proves versatile, as that is important to us, too.

Karen, she is stunning! What a beautifully elegant little bitch she is,I knew that this albeit small litter would produce the goods and boy has'nt it just!!

I wish you much more continued success with her and I am sure she will take the US by storm as she matures.

wow, she is a very smart girl, you sound so pleased, I can see why!

Nice necklace too - I'm hoping to pop over to Cathie's and get an original before Christmas - do you think I'll have time now? :- "

I like her very much  She is growing into beautiful elegant girl :)

Sorbet is looking stunning

She looks to have the goodies to be bringing home lots of ribbons for you in the future, a very elegant bitch with a lovely style. You would have to be thrilled with her size also - piccys are always hard to judge & sometime they look leggier & taller than they actually are.

I can't believe she is already 7mths old, seems only just a heartbeat ago the frozen popsicles were born, having said that, my frozen creatures are now 3mths old!!!

Will look forward to hearing of her success thru 2009
