Thanks for putting up the results. It was a really good day, West Somerset ran a good open, the wrinklies from Cornwall enjoyed ourselves very much, thank you Margaret and your band of helpers.
A few of us are still here. It's mostly non peds, non ped racing and lurchers now. Shame. Try Face book, a lot of people who were on here joined Facebook.
You need to go to a training class. You seem to be letting her just do as she likes with no guide lines or training. She obviously needs firm handling to stop her jumping all over people. Keep her on a lead in public places until you have her well trained to come when called. She will jump up if...
Been there, done that. It is such a shame that people can't get on. All folk want is to race their dogs without any back biting and hassle.
I feel for you Beejay.
:huggles:
That has nothing to do with the original poster's question. This is about whippets, not lurchers/non peds/ greyxwhippets etc.
As for whippeteer, you just make no sense at all. The KC didn't just decide to make a breed standard for the whippet to stop lurcher show. Just goes to show you don't...
"Cant deny non ped whippets are faster than KC racing whippets but thats to be expected with the inclusion of other breeds, Does it improve the greyhound crossing it with the whippet? So why are they not refered to as non ped greyhounds?"
I have wondered that as well. :-
On facebook you chose your friends and block those you don't want to have anything to do with. You can delete those you no longer want as friends.
It's sad, but you do need protection from the cyber bullies.
I go on TWF as I have more friends on there. I think! It is clicky I agree, there is a hard core who keep saying well done to each other!!! Ducking for cover! I have decided not to post my pups wins on there any more as the response is cool!
I enjoyed K9 when I first joined but a group decided...
Bred by Valerie Tugwell, by my friends the Rooms by their black dog Suune in Splendour of Darkstars who I gave best Dog to at NCWC Open Show out of Fleetway Cute 'N Cuddly.
RIP old chap. Go with love and run free.
Whippets are a very healthy breed, some lines can and do have heart problems which come to light as the dog ages. I don't know how old your boy is, but if he is a young dog and pedigree you should let his breeder know.
I hope the meds work for him, it's sad to see them poorly.
It is not the forum it used to be, no show people chat on here any more and it seems to be mainly non ped whippets and lurchers. Nothing wrong with that but it would be nice to see people come back.
